So, I've decided to offer an alternative to the eight year long sequence of "my music awards", that have been always the same through the years. So, this time, before you find out the winners of "AeMu", here's a new type of list. Here, I will present only two nominations: Album of the year and a short list of the best songs of the year. However, this time, instead of simply naming the winner and going to bed on New Year's Eve, I'll present a TOP10 list here. And instead of naming 10 songs that I liked the most in 2015, I will present 20 songs. Will this strange awards become the new standard or will I quit doing ridiculous recaps altogether, I don't know. Before I start, I would like to point out that readers should not expect to find differences between both lists. They do coincide instead of being alternatives, as I am not a multiple.

Šiemet, kaip ir kasmet nuo 2008-ųjų, metų pabaigą vainikuos mano muzikiniai apdovanojimai, šiemet, kaip ir kelis pastaruosius kartus, vadinami „AeMu“. Kas šiemet ne taip, kaip visada? Vieta – šiemet apdovanojimai persikelia iš „Aesthetiški medžiai“ blog'o į „Aesthetic Trees“ blog'ą, kuriame daugiau dėmesio skiriama muzikai ir menui apskritai, taigi, kur tie apdovanojimai bus labiau „savo vietoje“. Visa kita lieka kaip buvę – tos pačios nominacijos, ta pati sistema. Galiu tik pridurti, kad šie apdovanojimai gali būti ir paskutiniai- nebelabai matau priežasčių dėlioti metų geriausius, lyg kažkokia (kažkada seniai) sau pačiam ant galvos užgriozdinta prievolė, kurios prasmės jau senokai nebejaučiu. Tačiau šiemet dar pristatysiu, kas man šiemet patiko, kad skambia nata pabaigti apdovanojimų istoriją (o gal ir ne).//
This year, as was the case with every single year since 2008, I'm going to recap the year in music and name the best I've heard this year- this I shall call my music awards and, more specifically, this year's awards will be named – like in 2013 and 2014 – "AeMu". What's new in 2015? Well, the location: for the first time ever, my music awards will move from the old "Aesthetiški medžiai" blog to this new shiny (well, not so much) "Aesthetic Trees" blog. Well, apart from that, everything's going to be as usual – same nominations, same system. I may note that this year's awards might well be the last... I've struggled to find motivation to follow in the footsteps of my old self, who started this end of year melodrama, but I want to give you one last single glance into my musical world to finalise a marvellous lineage of awards in a positive way (and, after all, maybe I won't be giving up just yet).
